I’m Rose Han

Trading options is THE single, most powerful, and strategic way to take back control and create more freedom and flexibility in your life — BUT it often gets a bad rap for being super risky.

 

If your mind instantly went to images of swashbuckling traders making HUGE gains and also HUGE losses  (GameStop and WallStreetBets, anyone?) — that’s what happens when people approach options trading as a gambling hobby, rather than as a smart and strategic way to make money.

Because the thing is, there's a SMART way to trade options, and there's a STUPID way.

(Pardon my emphatic language, but I’m so freaking adamant about educating yourself and learning the RIGHT way to do things before putting your hard-earned money on the line!)

Here's a little secret...

 

Contrary to what you may have HEARD, options trading is actually an INCREDIBLE way to generate consistent income and optimize your investment portfolio.... But only when done strategically.

Most people that start out trading options make the mistake of BUYING options. However, buying options is NOT a winning strategy. 

Sure, you might hit it big once in a while, but more often than not, you’ll lose everything you paid to buy the option.

A better approach is to SELL options, and here’s why: 

Buying options is like buying insurance. You know how insurance is always overpriced? 

(I mean, how many people can say that the hundreds of dollars they pay every month for their health insurance *actually* ends up being worth it?)

That’s because insurance companies aren’t stupid. 

They charge A LOT for you to buy insurance because they’re in this business to make a profit! Even if they have to pay out a large insurance claim, they’ve already collected so much money from you that they STILL end up profitable.

Along the same lines…   

It’s a fact that options are always overpriced.

Just like the insurance business is profitable for insurance sellers, the options trading business is profitable for option sellers.  


To give you an idea, here’s what your account will look like if you BUY options vs. SELL options:

When you BUY options, you can expect BIG occasional gains but mostly consistent losses (i.e. just like gambling!).

But when you SELL options, you can expect moderate but CONSISTENT gains, with occasional (but manageable) losses.

It’s obvious which one is the superior strategy, right?!

Unfortunately, most of the options trading programs out there only talk about buying options.

(If you’ve ever seen an ad of some guy standing in front of a Lamborghini, talking about his amazing trading method that can make you rich too, you know what I mean! *eyeroll*)
